Speakers and Discussion Leaders:

We have assembled a select group of physicians and scientists to identify the key issues that must be addressed to move forward from recent genetic discoveries to effective therapies for a growing class of autism and cognitive disorders. The overarching goal of this meeting is to define common pathways that are potential targets for therapeutic interventions. The symposium will offer an in-depth examination of the challenges involved in this underserved and wanting field of drug discovery and development. A dedicated networking event is incorporated into the program to enhance the exchange of information between physicians, scientists, parents of affected patients, technology developers, experts from the pharmaceutical industry, and funding agencies.
